Looking for a hands-on career with room to grow? Dogwood Industries is seeking motivated Shop Hands to support the fabrication, painting, and assembly of steel building structures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, manufacturing, assembly, roofing, siding, or metalworking experience who want to develop their skills and advance into higher-level roles, including welding.
What You'll Do

• Assist with steel fabrication, assembly, painting, and material handling
• Use hand and power tools to clean, prep, and assemble materials
• Read work orders and follow production instructions
• Support quality control and safety initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, assembly, roofing, siding, or metalworking
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16\"
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and safety-focused

Preferred Qualifications

• Blueprint reading experience
• Trade school education
• Light welding experience
• Industrial, mechanical, or electrical assembly experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
