Medical Assistant OpportunityNew York City's largest dermatology practice is a full-service practice with 50+ locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island. Now Delaware and Philly too! We are the fastest growing Dermatology practice in the Northeast. We are searching for a friendly, driven, hard-working medical assistant to join us. This vacancy does require weekend flexibility and 40 hours of full-time work shift.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain surgical rooms and instruments for all Mohs casesAssist during Mohs procedures, ensuring proper sterile techniqueHandle, label, and transport tissue specimens accuratelyDocument patient information, procedure notes, and pathology details in EMRProvide pre-op and post-op patient education and wound-care instructionsPerform clinical tasks including suture removal, dressing changes, and wound checksMaintain inventory of surgical supplies and restock as neededSupport clinic flow and collaborate with the dermatology team to ensure a smooth patient experienceQualificationsExperience in dermatology, surgical assisting, or Mohs surgery strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and comfort working with specimensExcellent communication and patient-care skillsAbility to multitask in a quick clinical environmentEMR experience (eClinicalWorks/EMR of your choice) is a plusCompensation: $23 per hourBenefits:Excellent benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K)56 hours of sick time off (10 additional hours per year)Access to Care.com to support childcare, senior care, pet care, and other family needs.Access to Tapcheck, allowing on-demand access to earned wages between pay periods, no waiting for payday.Investing in your future matters to us.
