Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography (Echo) for a full-time position in a rural healthcare setting. The role involves performing General, Vascular, and Echo studies, requiring proficiency in all three modalities. The position offers rotating day and night shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage, with the purpose of providing comprehensive imaging services to the community.

Job Details:

• Location: Waimea, Hawaii
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, approximately 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) licensed in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography (Echo)
  • Experience in General, Vascular, and Echo sonography
  • Ability to work independently and handle overtime as needed
  • Reside within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fully competent in all three ultrasound modalities spanning General, Vascular, and Echo
• Additional Information:
  • Applicants must be prepared to work at both the primary and secondary hospital locations
  • Must confirm and communicate date of arrival and remaining compliance items upon confirmation
