Part-Time Dermatologist Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a part-time Dermatologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed Level I Trauma Center, while North Central Bronx Hospital is equipped with 213 licensed beds. Both facilities are recognized leaders in various medical fields, including emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women's health.

Opportunity Overview

As a Dermatologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising residents in adult, pediatric, and/or surgical dermatology clinics.
• Delivering clinical care and providing hands-on education to residents and medical students.
• Conducting inpatient dermatology consultations.
• Engaging in a primarily clinical role while also participating in hospital administrative tasks.
• Additional teaching and administrative responsibilities may be available upon request.

Schedule: 28 hours per week dedicated to clinic time, plus 4 hours of flexible administrative duties.

Call Coverage: Home call coverage is required for one month each year.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited residency program in Dermatology.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
• Possession of a valid New York State Medical License.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes:

• Annual Base Salary: $269,600* (board eligible); $277,600* (board certified) based on a 32-hour work week.
• The estimated total annual compensation package is $328,560** (board eligible) and $337,360** (board certified), which encompasses the base salary, 401(k) contributions, and other factors.
• Potential bonuses of up to $32,000, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity benchmarks.
• 401(k) Contributions: Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings, with no employee match required. After one year, an additional 7% contribution is provided.
• Annual reimbursement for Continuing Medical Education (CME).
• Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) including vacation, sick leave, holidays, and CME days.
• Comprehensive Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
• Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) at no cost to you.
