Associate Attorney

The Associate Attorney role provides new hires with an opportunity to learn about and familiarize themselves with our various practice areas, as well as demonstrate their ability to meet performance expectations. The candidate must be able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Candidate must be a self-starter and should value learning/evolving and being part of a team. Bar Required. Prior bankruptcy or other creditor’s rights experience preferred but we are willing to train a candidate who is eager to learn. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes our benefits package. We are looking to hire a candidate with bar membership(s) who has an active license and is in good-standing within their respective jurisdiction. Specific Job Responsibilities: Comprehensive review of all conditions precedent to filing of the action, including review of loan documents, financials, and demand letters Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate actions Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel Ensure all internal systems are updated to include findings, documentation, and recommendations Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements, as applicable Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills; strong interpersonal skills Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence Demonstrate an excellent ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently Dedication to superior customer service and timely interactions with our valued clients. Aptitude and desire to learn and continuously improve Required Education and Training: Juris Doctor Active Bar membership (any U.S. State) Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred Bankruptcy experience preferred but not required What we offer A collaborative, team-focused work environment within established legal practice.
