Responsibilities Provides support to Account Manager and customers during the order fulfillment process and in servicing new accounts or additional business for existing accounts, helping ensure account retention and growth. Handles incoming calls and assists on calls when needed. Places orders for the Account Manager. Follows up as needed on orders to ensure satisfactory delivery. Prepare quotes, research customer product questions, and assist with bids. Handles all aspects of order preparation. Serves customers at the highest level in order to assist in closing any potential sales. Assists the Account Manager with stock, credit, and shipping issues, as well as open/backlogged orders. Requirements Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge. Organized with the ability to multitask and manage priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to send correspondence via email and to make and receive telephone calls. Adaptable with the ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compose professional business communications via email. Excellent verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with item‑by‑item focus, meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our customers. Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
