Baggage Agent

The Baggage Agent provides support to the Baggage Service Office and ensures Baggage Service Agents effectively assist customers with delayed, damaged or pilfered baggage. Pay: $14 per hour (paid weekly) Shift: 16 Hours a week

Responsibilities

• Determine flight departure times and connecting carriers based on customer tickets

• Screen all passengers transferring between airlines prior to placing baggage on the return belts

• Ensure baggage tags are correct

• Direct and assist passengers with short-checked bags

• Handle misplace or lost baggage claims and provide reports to carriers

• Evaluate customers' needs concerning airline locations

A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• No prior experience required and on-the-job training provided

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of prior work experience preferred
