Job duties/Responsibilities: * Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs durng the post partum period, while in the hospital setting * Caring for the infants and educating mothers about care. * Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowlede and skill. * Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs. Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. * Current Nevada nursing license. * Current BLS certificate. NRP within 6 mo. of hire. STABLE within 6 mo of hire * Neonatal nursing experience preferred. * 2 years of Level 3 NICU/Transport Experaince * Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
