• Conducting patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings and formulating tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional capacity.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals, to achieve optimal results for each patient.
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, home exercise programs, and discharge planning.
• Documenting assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engaging actively in multidisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification is preferred, and any specialized credentials (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory.
• A strong background in working with diverse patient populations, with an emphasis on complex mobility challenges.
• Proficient communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Comfort in utilizing electronic health record systems for clinical documentation.
