Location : Libertyville, IL



Job Summary

• Design, develop, and optimize molds, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Review and approve mold designs; perform DFM evaluations.
• Support mold validation, qualification, sampling, and part approvals.
• Troubleshoot tooling and injection molding issues and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure efficient manufacturing.

Required Skills

• Medical device manufacturing experience.
• Injection molding expertise, including Hot Runner Systems.
• Mold design, tooling validation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E, Windchill, and SolidWorks .
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Injection molding machine operation experience.
• Knowledge of thermoplastics, thermosets, and mold flow analysis.
• Familiarity with PCB/electronic assembly and testing tools.
