Outpatient Therapist We are hiring for: Outpatient Therapist. Type: Credentialed. The position calls for a professionally licensed clinician (Fully or provisionally licensed) with direct experience and skill in treating a range of behavioral health issues. Location, Salary, Schedule Location: Taylorsville Salary: $48,000 - $52,000 based on licensure and experience Schedule: Monday through Friday – no weekends or on call Responsibilities Conduct Clinical Assessments Run individual, family and group outpatient therapy sessions Conduct inpatient group therapy sessions Orient new service users to RHA Develop person-centered plans for service users Oversee the discharge planning process Facilitate relationships between RHA, service user families/legal guardians and various social service community resources, such as food stamp and housing assistance, healthcare, job training and placement, and substance abuse support groups Coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help service users, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director Qualifications Graduate degree in Social Work or related field Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare in North Carolina (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or licensed associate) Minimum 2 years’ experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health issues that includes writing person-centered plans, conducting effective group therapy and providing mental health diagnoses General working knowledge of the human services delivery system in North Carolina Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds and meet physical requirements for CPR and therapeutic holds Employee supervisory experience preferred Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred Pre‑employment screening: complete criminal background name check in registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements Proof of employment history or references (if required) For positions requiring driving, proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance and vehicle, if required for providing transportation for individuals Benefits Payactiv: early access to earned money before payday Employee perks and discount program Paid Time Off (full‑time employees only) Health/Insurance (full‑time employees only) 401(k) retirement savings program Wellbeing Programs: Physical, emotional and financial chronic disease management programs for hypertension and diabetes (for qualifying employees) Training: Free CPR, first aid, and job‑specific training opportunities EEO Statement RHA is an equal opportunity employer.
