Business Operations Manager Technology Manager Technology Role The Manager Technology role is responsible for building and enhancing technology solutions to meet complex business needs. You will lead the evaluation of new technology and develop product roadmaps by providing technical and strategic direction. Estimated salary range for this position is $144,738.24–$188,159.71 / year depending on experience. Qualifications Degrees: Bachelors. Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field. 3 to 5 years of managerial and leadership experience. Experience architecting enterprise applications and databases that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability, high availability, containers, and server‑less technologies. Demonstrated experience in the areas such as Cloud Native Design Patterns, Microservices and API Strategy. Experience in Java, web application development and associated skills in a high‑stakes environment. Strong working knowledge of software development technologies, specifically high volume solutions. Experience with Smart / FHIR implementations. Experience developing fault tolerant distributed systems is highly desirable. Working knowledge of Agile Software Development mechanics. Background in Service Oriented Architecture, micro services architecture implementation, service versioning, and backward compatibility. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management. Develop, maintain, and publish standardized operating procedures and process documentation (including workflow flowcharts) for technology solutions across all entities. Lead enterprise‑wide initiatives such as standardized management of cart fleets, coordinating with peer groups to ensure standardized configurations, maintenance, and replacement cycles. Provide strategic oversight to technical resource(s), reviewing project plans and deliverables and holding the role accountable for quality, timelines, and outcomes. Champion new technology initiatives from proposal through implementation and adoption, serving as the primary escalation point for delivery across all entities. Coordinate technology rollouts and operational changes, managing relationships with clinical, IT, and facilities stakeholders to ensure consistent execution health‑system‑wide. Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and mentor direct reports while building career development pathways and a high‑performance team culture. Own departmental budget planning and expenditure tracking, providing financial reports and justification for capital/operational technology investments to senior leadership.
