Baker/Pastry Production Lead

We are seeking a talented and passionate Baker/Pastry Production Lead to join our culinary team! The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and specialty baked goods. This role requires a commitment to excellence, consistency, and maintaining the highest food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, cookies, and desserts.
- Develop seasonal menus and create new dessert recipes.
- Decorate pastries and cakes with precision and creativity.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support special events and menu planning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role.
- Formal culinary or pastry training is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for pastry arts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Spanish speaking a plus, not required
