Home Health Registered NurseThis is a Day shift position working 5x8 hours from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Flexibility is required as hours can vary based on office needs, including alternating weekend shifts.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Home Health Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a home setting. The ideal candidate must have infusion experience and skilled home care experience, along with comprehensive medical knowledge and hands-on skills in managing chronic and post-operative conditions.ResponsibilitiesPerform cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.Provide care for patients with high-risk diagnoses including Heart Failure, COPD, Myocardial Infarction, Pneumonia, and Stroke.Administer intravenous therapy, including IV skills and wound care management.Conduct home skilled visits, typically 6-8 per day.Implement and monitor medical equipment such as PleurX drain care and wound vacs.Change and care for Foley catheters, perform staple and suture removal, and use glucometers.Document all patient care activities using scheduled and standardized documentation systems (e.g., BayCare Forms, Ace Timesheet).Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a skilled home care setting.OASIS training and experience is required.Must possess current RN license valid in Florida or a compact state.BCLS certification is mandatory.Must have a valid driver's license and a car for home visits.COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption is required; flu shot or declination required with mandatory mask-wearing at work.
