Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ONS Chemo/Bio provider card required Must-Have: Experience with cellular therapies (stem cell/CART) preferred Description: Seeking a registered nurse for an oncology specialty position in the infusion procedural center. The role involves working day shifts, either 4x10-hour or 4x12-hour shifts. Every fourth weekend shift is required. The nurse may be required to float to two other infusion centers, but this is unlikely. Basic Life Support certification is a requirement. Must hold an ONS Chemo/Bio provider card. Experience with cellular therapies is preferred. The responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, managing ports, and monitoring side effects. The unit cares for cellular therapies and leukemia patients among other oncology diagnoses. Additional support includes IV teams and pharmacy services. This is an outpatient oncology position that does not provide primary infusion services for non-oncology needs. The nurse will work within a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and support.
