About the Position

Job Title: Computerized Tomography Technologist Profession: Computerized Tomography Technologist Specialty: Computerized Tomography Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 22:00 - 06:30 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: Not specified License: - Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required. - Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in specific states, Preferred in others. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required. - Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment. - Venipuncture certification: Required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials. Must-Have: - EPIC experience. Description: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment. Produces cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to the appropriate location. Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment. Manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
