We provide personal and professional support, training and development and flexible employment opportunities.**About the role**Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a friendly and motivated **Fitness Floor Attendant** to join the fitness team at our state-of-the-art facility in **Bentonville, AR**. In this role, you'll help create a welcoming, safe, and engaging fitness environment by providing exercise floor supervision, assisting members with their fitness needs, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is an **on-call position** ideal for individuals seeking flexibility and the opportunity to stay connected to a dynamic fitness community. Fitness Floor Attendants provide coverage for open shifts when regular staff are unavailable. **Available shift times include:*** **Weekends (Saturday & Sunday):** + Opening Shift: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM + Closing Shift: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM* **Weekdays (Monday-Friday):** + Opening Shift: 5:00 AM - 11:00 AM + Midday Shift: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM + Closing Shift: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM **Availability Requirement:** On-call Fitness Floor Attendants are expected to provide coverage for a minimum of **two 6-hour shifts per calendar month**.Responsible for providing exercise floor supervision and interacting with members and program participants within the fitness center.**Key Accountabilities*** Interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.* Welcomes members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests while at front desk and input data into membership system.* Performs facility maintenance responsibilities; ensures facility, equipment and locker rooms are clean and always stocked.* Understand and execute the Emergency Medical Procedures throughout the facility.* Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.**Minimum Requirements*** Must be 18 years or older.* High School Diploma or GED required.* Adult and pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid certifications from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute required within first 30 days of hire.* Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.* Computer application knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) strongly preferred.* Physical demands require having the ability to lift up to 40 lb. weights for restacking.* Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.* Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.The compensation range for this role is $15.00 - $17.50/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
