Job Overview Our client, a thriving and collaborative small job shop, is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their production facility. Salary: $59,000 - $82,000 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM. Education: High School. Key Responsibilities Machine Operation: Efficiently configure, program, and operate CNC press brakes, shears, and forming rolls. Blueprint Reading: Accurately interpret complex blueprints, sketches, and engineering/production specifications to execute precise bends. Tooling & Setup: Manage frequent short runs and rapid tool changes, performing approximately 50 tooling changes per day with accuracy and speed. Quality Assurance: Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect parts and ensure all finished products meet strict quality standards. Essential Functions Work in a smoke-free environment. Wearing steel toe shoes. Work in a non-temperature controlled environment. Manual lifting up to 50 lbs. Work up to 5 hrs of overtime per week. Experience level: Experienced. High School (required).
