Speech Language Pathologist

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: SLP Specialty: Speech Pathology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Tuesday to Saturday Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:45 AM - 4:15 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, CCC-SLP, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: Independence in bedside swallow evaluation and follow-up, communication evaluation and follow-up, outpatient standardized test administration Description: Candidates must have recent experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Floating to various facilities is required. The role includes treating 7-8 patients per day in an outpatient setting or a combination of 4 outpatient and 3-4 inpatient cases. Common diagnoses include post-concussion, CVA, TBI, head and neck cancer, and other acute rehab scenarios. The SLP will work in both acute inpatient and outpatient departments. Additional skills include independence in assessments and the ability to follow standardized testing protocols. The position requires adherence to dress code standards. There are no weekend or holiday requirements. Charting will be conducted using an established electronic system. The environment is fast-paced, and the SLP will need to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
