The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in nursing education and administration. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of nursing education and the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals. The Dean will be responsible for the site supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all nursing program activities. This includes managing the program budget, faculty and staff, curriculum development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Dean will also serve as a student advocate, oversee the admission process, and maintain educational partnerships with clinical sites. Applicants for the Dean position must hold a current RN license and a master’s or higher degree from an accredited institution with coursework in nursing, education, or administration. A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, 2 years of teaching in nursing programs, and at least 2 years of direct patient care as a registered nurse are required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to diversity. The role demands a leader with a collaborative and facilitative style, the ability to work with a wide variety of people and institutions, and experience in supervision, planning, and budget management.
