Supplier Quality Engineer

Supplier Quality Engineer We’re partnering with a growing, innovation-focused manufacturing organization that is committed to delivering high-quality products through strong supplier partnerships. As the business continues to scale, they’re looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to play a key role in ensuring supplier performance, product integrity, and continuous improvement across the supply chain. This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and external vendors to drive measurable quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, scorecards, and corrective actions Lead root cause analysis and resolution of supplier-related quality issues Partner with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with specifications Support new product introduction (NPI) by validating supplier readiness and quality standards Conduct on-site and remote supplier audits to assess risk and capability Collaborate with internal teams across engineering, procurement, and operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs and control plans Monitor key quality metrics and report on supplier performance trends What You Bring Must-Have: 3+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality Strong understanding of quality tools (e.g., root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC) Experience working directly with external suppliers and vendors Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Nice-to-Have: Experience in a regulated or high-precision manufacturing environment Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or quality engineering Exposure to APQP, PPAP, or supplier development programs Background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering Work Environment On-site, depending on location and business needs Occasional travel to supplier sites may be required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative, team-oriented culture Equal Opportunity & Hiring Transparency As part of our hiring process, we may use technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence, to support application screening and evaluation.
