Minimum 1+ years Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience and CNA certificate required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a key support role providing care to a kindergarten student with high-level medical needs in a vibrant school setting. This full-time opportunity offers 32.5 hours per week for a short-term assignment, spanning approximately 2.5 months from September to November, with the potential to extend through the academic year.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
• School day schedule, Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant)
• Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Comfortable providing mobility and personal care for students who utilize a wheelchair
• Demonstrated reliability and compassion when supporting children with complex medical needs
• Solid communication skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, and family
• Ability to adapt to changing situations within a school environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care and daily support to a kindergarten student requiring a wheelchair and intensive medical assistance
• Monitor and assist with medical needs in collaboration with school staff and healthcare professionals
• Support activities of daily living within the classroom setting
• Provide safe mobility assistance and periodic health checks throughout the school day
• Document and report observations and care tasks as required
