Job Title: Travel RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: 1 year travel experience in high-risk OB Labor and Delivery NRP Intermediate fetal monitoring ACLS BLS Description: This position requires a travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery. The unit provides care for patients with high-risk obstetrics. Candidates will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios are typically 2:1. The staff consists of a combination of nurses and surgical technicians. The unit is equipped with EMR systems. On-call requirement is 1 shift every 4 weeks. Floating to postpartum and antepartum may be required. Candidates with OBED experience and high-volume experience are preferred. Typical procedures include managing magnesium and insulin drips. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a busy environment. This assignment offers an opportunity to work with a seasoned staff and advanced technology.
