RN Supervisor- Weekend Nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our weekend team at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley, located in Poughkeepsie, New York. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and services provided to our residents on our weekend shifts. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on weekend shifts to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide guidance and support to direct care staff, including orientation, training, and performance feedback
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes
• Collaborate with other departments, such as social work and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, customer service, and teamwork

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in supervisory or leadership roles
• Proven ability to lead and motivate staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
• Ability to work flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
