Business Immigration Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Business Immigration Attorney in Silver Spring, MD. This full-time, hybrid role involves managing a business immigration caseload, providing strategic legal counsel, and supporting clients throughout the immigration process. The position requires on-site presence three days a week. Duties Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-based immigration matters. Prepare and file petitions and applications, including E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, J-1, PERM, EB-2 NIW, and EB-1 cases. Draft legal briefs and responses to agency requests. Provide legal guidance to corporate and individual clients. Collaborate with paralegals and support staff for efficient case preparation. Stay current on immigration laws and ensure compliance. Requirements Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school. Minimum of 3 years of experience in business/employment-based immigration law. Experience with E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, EB-2 NIW, and EB-1 cases. Strong legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and client service skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
