Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to formulate integrated care strategies.

Educate patients and their families to enhance progress beyond clinical settings.

Conduct occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care.

Keep comprehensive and timely documentation that complies with clinical guidelines at all levels.

Stay informed regarding advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory within 30 days of employment.

In-depth knowledge and application of evidence-based therapies for patients of all ages, with a strong focus on developmental and acquired speech and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills that foster rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to tailor therapy methods to support diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Strong clinical judgment and adept problem-solving capabilities.

Competence with electronic medical records and documentation requirements.
