We're looking for an Assistant F&B Manager who effectively lead shifts to ensure excellent service and operations are consistently achieved. This is the top priority for the Assistant Manager position. This Assistant F&B Manager also embodies the Hyatt values and has previous hospitality experience. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will assist to manage at The Rooftop Bar. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful. (This position is on-site.) The salary range for this position is $70,304.00 -$78,750.00. This is the pay range for this position that The Seabird Resort and Mission Pacific Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in overseeing the operations of the rooftop bar. • Develop and maintain an enticing beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, and spirits. • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost control. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations. • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally. • Coordinate events and promotions to attract and retain customers. • Coach and mentor staff as appropriate. • Monitor financial performance related to beverage sales and prepare reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar, lounge or restaurant setting. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Extensive knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control. • Knowledge of health, safety, and alcohol regulations. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
