JOB DESCRIPTION

Department : Intensive Care Unit

Shift Timings : 18:00 - 06:30 Hours Monday to Friday 3 days/ 12 hours

Per Week: 36 Hours

13-week contract; 36 HPW minimum; every other weekend; holiday/hard-to-fill shift TBD by unit need & contract dates.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN CVICU experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered Indiana RN state license
• One year of Cerner FirstNet experience
• TNCC

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
