Overview Warehouse Worker / Qualified Driver – Nampa, ID PACE Supply, a leading employee-owned wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies, has an exciting full-time opportunity at our Nampa, ID location. We're seeking a motivated, self-motivated warehouse team member who is committed to excellence and helping us deliver outstanding customer service every day. Key Responsibilities: Receive, store, and distribute products efficiently Perform general warehouse duties including picking/packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory Safely make deliveries to customers as needed (using a 24ft truck) Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely and efficient delivery schedules Ideal Candidate: Holds a valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record Has prior experience in deliveries and working with dispatch Is organized, detail-oriented, and excels at customer communication Can lift heavy packages and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment High school diploma/GED or equivalent What We Offer: Competitive pay Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career growth in a supportive, employee-owned company Monday–Friday schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Overtime availability Responsibilities Delivery & Customer Service Safely deliver plumbing products to customers’ homes and designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, following established routes and schedules. Obtain customer signatures on packing slips for receipt of goods and maintain accurate delivery records. Address and resolve customer concerns in the field, escalating issues when necessary. Communicate delivery status and any delays to the scheduling and routing team to ensure smooth operations. Vehicle Operation & Maintenance Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of materials. Perform routine vehicle inspections using the designated inspection form and report any safety concerns to management. Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle to ensure compliance with safety and company standards. Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment Receive work orders from the supervisor and prioritize tasks based on scheduling needs. Pull orders from inventory manually or using a forklift, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Pack and label materials for delivery or customer pick-up, preparing necessary documentation such as bills of lading. Verify filled orders before delivery or pick-up to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Restock shelves and racks from overstock as needed to maintain proper inventory levels. Team Support & Safety Assist in training new Delivery Drivers on company procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols in the warehouse and delivery areas. Foster a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, and management. Qualifications Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify. Possess a valid ID Class C Driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age. Must have clean driving record. Can pass a background check and drug test. Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required. 2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training Long hours of moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs. Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications. Ability to put things in a proper sequence (e.g., by size, alphabetically, numerically) and to put like items together. Knowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle. Knowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Environmental Conditions: The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
