They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join the dynamic team. If you are passionate about patient care and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Applicants must have open availability 9am - 7pm, Monday - Saturday. Pay is $20/hrs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Measure, package, and label prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, ordering supplies, and verifying deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and educating patients on medications.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and optimal medication management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Valid pharmacy technician license in CA.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and general computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and inventory management.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related field is a plus.
