Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Salary Range: $30.92 - $32.96 per hour Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with no weekend rotation Location: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping patients improve their physical well-being and a desire to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical conditions and injuries. Implement treatment plans under the guidance of the Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities. Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to be performed at home. Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and provide updates on patient progress and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution. State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
