Associate Head of School

The client is seeking an experienced school leader for the role of Associate Head of School. The Associate Head of School will be a pivotal member of the administrative team, helping cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment that advances academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement. This role serves as a key liaison among students, faculty, staff, and parents to support clear communication, coordination, and effective implementation of school-wide initiatives and programs. In partnership with the Head of School, the Associate Head of School will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the Middle and Upper School programs. Responsibilities include comprehensive oversight of daily academic operations, student life, and co-curricular programming across these divisions. The role will also involve acting as Head when needed, while reflecting and reinforcing the school’s core values related to physical readiness, emotional wellness, intellectual growth, social responsibility, and moral courage. As part of the Administrative Team, the Associate Head of School is expected to oversee and support a diverse group of academic and co-curricular directors, including direct supervision, evaluation, and guidance. The position also includes partnering to design and implement effective systems, promote faculty professional development, maintain academic quality, and ensure alignment between programs and the school’s mission of preparing students for a life of learning and responsible leadership.
