• Ensure results are accurate, diagnose any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with collecting specimens and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Document all processes meticulously, guide new personnel or students, and maintain high standards of laboratory quality.
• Uphold a clean and secure working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree and ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within the first year of employment.
• Keep current certification throughout your tenure.
