Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), every other weekend | Expected 72 hours biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical Telemetry units as part of a float pool assignment
• Float between Med-Surg Telemetry units, PCU, ICU, and ED as needed to support patient care demands
• Care for Med-Surg boarders in various unit settings
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient status and respond appropriately
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Strong telemetry skills required due to multi-unit float responsibilities
• EPIC experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with PCU and/or ICU patient populations
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying acuity levels and unit workflows
