Real Estate Development Intern - Affordable Housing Finance

A part‑time intern position at National Church Residences, based in our Dublin, Ohio corporate office during standard business hours. The role provides professional services aligned with the unit’s day‑to‑day operating objectives while supporting the educational internship program. Essential Functions Review tax credit and bond application submittals and lender applications to develop affordable housing communities. Assist with financial models for the development, including 4% and 9% tax credit models. Review and prepare funding applications to develop affordable housing communities. Promote and participate as an active and supportive member of the acquisition and development team. Expectations Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem‑solving methods. Performs other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program, working toward a degree. Experience Entry level – no experience required. Skills Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web. Good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
