Night Shift Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, particularly in managing patients with varied health conditions. The position requires excellent clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure while providing compassionate care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Manage intravenous therapy, including IV medication administration and monitoring.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and timely using the Cerner charting system.
• Participate in emergency response and rapid response teams as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Preferred charge experience with a minimum of 2 years in nursing.
• Experience managing patient ratios of 6-7.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Previous experience with telemetry or critical care preferred.
• Ability to access and manage ports, as well as familiarity with CPAP/BiPAP management.
• Strong assessment skills and knowledge of isolation precautions and infection control.
