Maintenance MechanicHiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the beverage manufacturing industry!Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6 am to 6 pm 2-2-3 schedulePay: $28-29 an hourLocation: Quincy, ILJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment while following all safety proceduresTroubleshoot and repair production-related equipment, including regrind equipment, dehumidifiers, cooling tower pumps, recirculation pumps, water chillers, and high-pressure air compressorsConduct routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipmentComplete equipment maintenance logs and related documentation accuratelyAssist with work orders, equipment changeovers, and minor repair projectsEnsure production equipment operates at optimal efficiencyMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow all safety policies and support a culture of safety, integrity, and teamworkPerform other duties as assignedEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of two (2) years of work-related experience or training preferredBasic reading, writing, and math skillsComputer experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsAbility to plan and execute minor repair and maintenance projectsProficiency with standard maintenance tools and safe work practicesPreventative maintenance expertise, including identifying and addressing equipment issuesAbility to read schematics and technical manuals
