Procurement Agent (Associate or Experienced)Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business is looking for an Associate or Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in Dallas, TX.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location: Dallas, TXThe ideal candidate integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.Position Responsibilities:Effectively manage priorities for a high volume of supplier purchase orders/contractsOversee source selection for parts and servicesGathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities to ensure delivery, quality, and financial stabilityManage supplier performance, interpreting and enforcing contract terms and conditionsInitiate supplier improvement activities, while integrating and aligning with program business unit goals and strategiesCommunicate and engage with stakeholders to ensure that program and customer strategies are integrated into supplier source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategiesCommunicate across functions, programs, and suppliers to effectively manage risks, issues and opportunitiesLead special projects to execute continuous improvement initiativesCoach, mentor, and train junior team membersPossess complete understanding, ability, and knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations; Possess complete knowledge of company and local policies, procedures and regulationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)3+ total years of related experience2+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing1+ years of experience with basic ERP system functionality such as Systems Applications and Processing (SAP) and/or Procurement to Pay (PTP)Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExperience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontractsExperience with interacting directly with suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposalsPreferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher preferred – Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study4+ total years of related experience4+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or BuyerAPICS Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM)Experience working in a distribution business environmentExperience in commodity / product knowledgeExperience with strategic sourcing and managing supplier performanceDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This position is first shiftConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Credit Check: This position will require a credit checkTotal Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
