Compact Cylinders - Assembler

PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the assembly of standard SMC products and simple specials are followed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Adherence to all department work instructions Ensure the respective area is compliant with 5S standards Process all paperwork necessary associated with established assembly standards Execute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systems Assemble and test standard SMC products and simple specials Interpret and apply simple special documentation Understand SMC’s part numbering system Understand and apply the physical bin system Complete inventory transactions consistent with established work instructions Adhere to all safety rules Adhere to all Quality Management system standards and policies All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to hear and talk. Work environment exposes the employee to Noise, Heat, Cold, and Dust.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
