Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician Profession: MLT Specialty: MT/MLT (Laboratory) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience required License: Not specified Certifications: ASCP or AMT certification required Must-Have: - Blood bank experience is a plus. - Venipuncture skill. Description: Adhere to universal precautions standards. Understand and comply with policies and procedures. Demonstrate dependability and responsibility, including attendance and punctuality. Perform daily quality control and daily maintenance per guidelines. Complete testing in a timely and concise manner. Operate and troubleshoot chemistry analyzers. Operate and troubleshoot UA analyzers. Operate and troubleshoot hematology analyzers. Operate and troubleshoot coag analyzers. Conduct blood bank testing, including type, RH, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and quality control. Exhibit courtesy and professional conduct toward patients, lab staff, physicians, and other employees. Perform miscellaneous testing, including serological and microbiological testing. Communicate important information with co-workers, supervisors, fellow employees, and physicians. Maintain overall quality of performance and conduct.
