Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center Main OR position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience in total joints, neuro, transplant, and vascular cases.

Details

• Level 1 Trauma Center Main OR setting
• 13-week assignment with block scheduling not accommodated
• Day shift schedule of (2) 12-hour shifts 6:45a-7:15p and (2) 10-hour shifts 6:45a-3:15p
• Call requirement of 6 weekdays in a 6-week period and 2 weekends in a 6-week period
• One weekend worked as part of scheduling
• One winter and one summer holiday required
• Uses Cerner charting system

Requirements

• BLS and CST (NBSTSA or NCCT) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Experience scrubbing total joints required
• Neuro, transplant, and vascular surgery experience required
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration, if applicable
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must live within 50 miles for local rate differential eligibility
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and no additional time off will be accepted afterward
