Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia! In this role, you will work as-needed, 8 hour shifts with our inpatient hospital medicine team. This role offers a highly flexible schedule and also serves as a great opportunity for a clinician interested in transitioning to a full-time role in the future, should an opening become available.

231-bed comprehensive acute-care facility
Key services include a busy ED, our heart, orthopedic, surgery, rehabilitation, sleep, and birthing centers with specialists trained specifically for these needs; and an extensive mental health program
EMR: Meditech

Position Overview

PRN (as-needed) schedule with maximum flexibility
Flexible scheduling: typically 8-hour shift coverage
Minimum PRN commitment: availability to work at least 3 shifts within a six-month period
Competitive PRN compensation
Inpatient clinician experience is strongly preferred
No solo clinician coverage required
Coverage may include ICU
Average admissions: 8 per day
Average census: 13
No codes or rapids
Acute care certification is preferred
