Senior Accountant Montgomery County, PA (Hybrid) $90,000 - $130,000 Our client is a global construction company seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Controller and executive leadership while supporting large-scale construction projects and helping drive financial and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience with project-based accounting, and the ability to contribute to process improvements within a dynamic, growing organization. Responsibilities Perform month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and project accounting activities Analyze job costs and monitor project profitability Oversee project invoicing and support revenue recognition processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Collaborate with project managers and operational leaders on financial performance and reporting Supervise and mentor an Accounting Assistant Serve as a key support resource to the Controller Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Construction accounting and project accounting experience preferred Experience with: WIP reporting Job costing Project invoicing Month-end close Financial statement preparation Strong understanding of GAAP Solid knowledge of debits, credits, and journal entries Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Software Experience QuickBooks Procore Advanced Excel Why Join?
