As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery activity; verify credentials and follow site procedures for entry, escort, and restricted-area access. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
