Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medical Surgical (Med Surg) PRN Job Type: Part-Time | PRN. Schedule: 2X12 per 6 weeks; 2 weekends per quarter; 1 holiday per year. Your experience matters. How You'll Contribute As a Med Surg LPN supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, you will provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Education: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program. Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire, Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) within 6 months of hire, I.V. Competency preferred with intent to obtain within 1 year of hire, Handle With Care (HWC) preferred. Required Skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision; must work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
