About the Role
As an Associate Dentist at Health Centered Dentistry you will:
- Provide high-quality comprehensive dental care, prioritizing patient comfort and outcomes.
- Collaborate with our highly skilled hygiene team to deliver exceptional patient care, educate patients, promote preventive oral health, and incorporate evidence-informed holistic approaches to periodontal care.
- Build patient relationships, conduct thorough exams, cultivate and communicate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with in-house specialists to deliver the best patient outcomes possible.
- Use advanced technology, including: full view CBCT, iTero 3D intra-oral scanner, and intraoral cameras in every operatory.
- Partner with the Owner Dentist to provide consistent, high-quality patient care while learning the clinical philosophy and systems that have built the practice’s exceptional reputation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years Holistic Associate Dentist experience required.
- DDS/DMD degree.
- Proficiency in restorative dentistry, using composite. Health Centered Dentistry is an amalgam-free practice.
- Proficiency in restorative dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment planning, and the ability to perform procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and other restorative treatments with a high standard of clinical care and attention to detail, using composite.
- Ability to perform root canal therapy and/or dental extractions as clinically indicated, with sound judgment in case selection and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
- Experience working in a multi-doctor clinic. The ability to consider differing opinions on treatment then collaborate to provide the best possible patient outcome.
- Experience or willingness to work with a range of restorative materials, including zirconia and e.max, and adapt to new materials and techniques as they are introduced in the practice.
- Experience or willingness to utilize Fluoride Free dental practices, except occasional use of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF).
- Experience or willingness to work with Ozone for restorative treatment.
- Experience or willingness to learn how to safely remove amalgam.
- Experience or willingness to work without numbing according to patient preference.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience with airway-focused dentistry and sleep appliance therapy.
- Familiarity with orthodontic treatment planning and case management.
- Knowledge of myofunctional therapy (MFT) or related training.
- Experience restoring implant-supported crowns.
- Proficiency with partial and complete dentures.
- Familiarity with soft tissue lasers (e.g., for gingivectomies and related procedures).
- Experience using cone beam CT (CBCT) imaging for diagnostics and treatment planning.
