Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift Job Description This position, independently or in consultation with a physician, administers medications, performs various types of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system. The Respiratory Therapist responds to arrest and emergency situations and provides CPR and life support systems. Responsibilities Performs respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations. Delivers medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers. Responds to all rapid responses, arrest, or STAT situations immediately, maintaining artificial airways, and performing respiration and cardiac compressions. Sets up and maintains all oxygen according to protocol. Schedule 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 6 on, 8 off (Wednesday through Monday) Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2+ years of RRT experience - Required Previous travel work experience - Preferred Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Required Active American Heart Association ACLS certification - Required Active American Heart Association PALS certification - Required Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification - Required Active RRT certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) - Required Current Michigan (MI) state license - Required Why ARMStaffing?
