The Mobile Mechanic will perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs primarily on passenger cars, light trucks, SUVs, commercial vehicles, and mixed fleets. Operating on-site at customer locations, this role involves independent work with occasional collaboration within a small team. Travel is expected within the local area and occasionally regionally to provide efficient, high-quality service directly to clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify issues accurately
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on various vehicle types
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems efficiently
- Replace parts as necessary to restore vehicle functionality
- Interact professionally with customers to explain repairs and maintenance
- Provide on-site service ensuring convenience and quality
- Manage tools and equipment to maintain readiness and safety
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive repair
- Knowledge of engine repair and brake systems
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of safety procedures
