Your Role What to Expect

• Carry out routine and advanced clinical lab testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols diligently.
• Scrutinize test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in patient specimen collection and diligently prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Document all procedures meticulously, mentor new staff members or students, and help sustain high lab quality standards.
• Keep a safe and clean working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation policies.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), obtained within the first year of hire.
• Commitment to maintaining current certification throughout employment.
