Per Diem Mammography Technologist (Per Diem) Onsite Women’s Health offers mammography services in OB/GYN practices, providing flexible scheduling for skilled technologists. Requirements / Qualifications Must be up to date on all CME credits. Must be patient‑centric, compassionate, and computer savvy. Ability to perform technical activities for screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Flexible with the ability to multitask. Willing to cover on a moment’s notice. 2+ years of mammography experience (required). ARRT certification (required). Responsibilities Produce screening and diagnostic mammograms for breast cancer detection. Ensure all eligible patients receive annual screening mammograms; assist practice accordingly. Prepare and educate patients for the mammographic procedure, reduce anxieties. Position equipment and adjust settings for optimal exposure. Practice radiation protection techniques and use beam‑restrictive devices, patient shielding. Follow safety standards for all equipment. Examine digital images for quality. Maintain equipment in proper working order. Perform QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and state requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality. Process paperwork and data entry. Engage in professional development and maintain affiliations. Prepare reports and data per MQSA and state requirements. Assist the radiologist with QA/QC reporting. Track mammography records following MQSA guidelines. Maintain QA documents for FDA inspections. Obtain and maintain ACR accreditation. Exceptional compensation for the right candidate!
